Painting Competition

Dear Principal,

We are in pleasure to inform you that the XXIII Inter School Painting Competition is scheduled on 30th September 2012 Sunday, from 9 am as details given below. We look forward the participation of your students as done in previous years.

Please send the entries before 26th September 2012.


Rules and Regulation

Date : 30th September 2012  Sunday     Time:   9.00 AM  (Group A & B)   10.30 AM (Groups C,D, & E)

There is no “Entry Fee” and  the contest is open to the students of the Schools situated in Dahisar , Borivali and Kandivali   i.e “R” Ward of the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.

The contest will be conducted in five groups:

Group A  –       Jr. K.G. & Sr. K.G. // Group B  –      Std 1 & II

Group C  –      Std III & IV //  Group D  –     Std V, VI & VII

Group E  –       Std VIII, IX & X

Schools should restrict the maximum number of participants in each group as under:

Groups A, B, C, D & E   –  10 participants each

Duration of the competition shall be –

Group A & B                                  –   One Hour

Group C, D & E                           –   Two Hours

The participants will be supplied with drawing paper of 15” x 11” size.  However, the participants will bring their own colors, brushes, pencils, erasers, pallets, drawing pads etc

Subject of the painting will be announced at the venue on the day of the competitioParticipants may use poster colors, tube colors, pencil  colors , pastel colors or wax crayons.

All paintings shall be the property of the  Borivali Malayali Samajam

Medals and certificates will be awarded to the  I,II, & III place winners.  Consolation   prizes will be in the form of certificates

The winners and the date of distribution of the prizes will be intimated through their  schools

Entries must be submitted by schools group-wise with the following particulars.  Please use

Separate sheets for each group.

a)  Name and address of the school

b)  Name of the student

c)  Standard & Div

d)  Signature of the Principal/Headmaster

e)  School Seal

Please inform the participants that if need be they should bring drinking water along with them.

The decision of the Judges shall be final and binding on all the participants
